Qi2 wireless charging with magnetic snap-on design. Works seamlessly with iPhone and Android magnetic cases, supports both wireless and wired fast charging.
Magnetic power banks became a default accessory after MagSafe, and the category now splits into two tiers: units that simply hold a magnet ring, and units built around the Qi2 magnetic power profile. The difference shows up in alignment, heat and how consistently the phone holds its charging rate.
Ask about the magnet array and the coil. A ring of magnets that centres the phone over the coil keeps efficiency high; weaker arrays let the phone shift, which increases heat and slows charging. Qi2-compatible designs also give buyers a standard they recognise, which helps in markets where MagSafe clones have a poor reputation.
Wattage needs context. 15W wireless is the realistic ceiling for most phones; higher numbers usually refer to wired output. Check the wired port as well, because buyers expect to use the same pack for fast wired charging when wireless is too slow.
Thermal design matters more here than in wired packs: a metal shield, spacing between coil and battery, and firmware that reduces power when temperature rises all affect user experience. Validate with a 30-minute charge test on a real phone before committing.
